A rose window built for the dark half of the year. The composition is entirely still, yet it holds the eye through radial order rather than gesture.
Design Story
Everything begins at the centre: a carved lantern face in warm amber, the single point of heat in a field of crimson, wine and bone-white segments. From it, twelve petal-shaped panels open outward like clockwork, alternating pale glass-look ribs with deep red filigree. Bats, roses and crescent moons repeat around the ring at measured intervals, so the imagery reads as ornament before it reads as horror. A gold-toned border studded with faceted red and orange accents closes the circle and returns attention inward. The restraint is deliberate: no motion, no chaos, just symmetry doing the work that drama usually does.
Window & Light Styling
The circular format is the point here. As a round window hanging, the disc silhouette and radial layout are read whole, from any angle, with the twin chains at the top framing it against the glass. Placed toward daylight or evening light, the pale segments carry brightness while the darker panels hold contrast, and the lantern face stays the anchor.
